An Addendum to Timelines

I am usually very respectful of timelines. I have to be, otherwise, I'd be a mess. Well, actually, I was a mess for the past 6 months or so. Haha. So much has transpired. But due to them being quite catastrophic in proportions and impact, my blog got stalled, and I only put in entries because I felt it was an obligation. Well, I intend to get it back up and running again. Hence there will be some back and forth on my entries, which will include the fairly recent past, as well as the present. All mixed up. Hopefully that will all be sorted out soon, and chronological order can be restored. In the meantime, thank you for your patience.

Evil, Catty, Cynical ... LOVE IT!!!

First of all, this is NOT SAFE FOR WORK.

If you haven't been there, check out LuridDigs. Its a site dedicated to some horrendous amateur nude pictures of men. Well, tragic is more likely the appropriate word. You would think they'd talk about the men (and they do...), but their focus on everything else but the guy himself. And believe me, there are some major travesties! But the guys (and girl) that run this site are here to turn it all into good ol' entertainment. Their comments are funny, bitchy, catty and evilly sarcastic. I love it.

Check them out when you're alone and in need of some evil.

How to Survive White Supremacy.

Humor. That's how you do it. Check out Stuff White People Like. Its f*ckin' brilliant. Sheer Genius. As a person of color, I can't stop cracking up. Because, like it or not, there's a grain of truth in each entry. Delivered in very smart, tongue-in-cheek voice, you can't help but love how Christian Lander delivers his observations. But it is important to note that is not meant to be taken seriously. Satire is its name, and you need your sense of humor to get it. Clearly, some commentators can't take it. Hence why we have #101.

I love being a cheapass!

I was never one of those lucky enough to be born with a diamond-studded spoon in their precious mouths. I just had a spoon. And the fact that I am Capricorn, I've been a cheapskate all my life. I have no shame. My ex's know it. My family know it. I don't know what they make such a big fuss over it. I don't buy stuff unless its on sale. I don't have all the latest trends, and I use stuff beyond their prescribed life. Seen and be seen ... psh! I'll pass. So I am not the most glamorous or trendy guy in town, and I look like I am underpaid. But what you also don't see is me having debt, and my savings account is actually in the green! And I have my own personal indulgences. They may just not be what you'd shell out your money for. Besides, I know people that are even cheaper than me (a friend of mine believes WalMart is too expensive). And speaking of cheap, check out FrugalFag. He does his blog with a sarcastic panache that I absolutely love. It cracks me up. But amidst all the gabbing, there's some good advice to be had.

Alpha Kitty Awesomeness!

So check out Alpha Kitty on YouTube. They've got an absolutely series on NYC Fashionistas being themselves and sharing their passions. It can be anything and everything. It's very clean, simple, basic, and yet has a style that doesn't obstruct the message, yet gets the idea across. Very fun, pop, kitsch ... just pure genius at a raw level. This one here is one of my favorite, and has a very important message as well.
