This is the original that he did a cover of. I actually like both versions, for different reasons. Daren Tan's m-pop ballad is very well done track for his debut album, and Mandarin is a wonderful language to listen to (and quite a challenge to master). Mêlée's original rock rendition is slightly more dramatic, but still very catchy. And of course, the video is great! Optimism and hope abound! Name as many movies as you can that inspired each love scene. Also, there is a Lounge version of 'Built To Last' which is hauntingly melodic, yet very mellow at the same time.
